Dave steals stuff. Not jewelry. Not cash. Dave stole a spatula last Tuesday. Why? Dave doesn’t know. Dave‘s lawyer doesn’t know. Dave doesn‘t have a lawyer. His record: three garden hoses, a single flip-flop, and a Bible from a motel nightstand. He can’t read. Dave has been asked to leave four Applebee‘s. He keeps going back. Dave is not sorry.
