Dusty Squirrel

Dusty is a squirrel with sky-high ambitions and eyes that point in two slightly different time zones. Dusty has wanted to be a pilot since he was old enough to fall out of a tree, which was last Tuesday. He's memorized every aviation manual cover-to-cover, but every interview ends the same way: the recruiter looks into his enormous, earnest, wildly unfocused eyes and gently suggests "ground-based careers." Undeterred, Dusty built his own cockpit out of an acorn and a bottle cap. His pre-flight checklist has one item: "Believe." His post-flight checklist also has one item: "Find other sock."
