Scout Dog

His name is Scout. Other dogs chase cars. He studies them. Sits by the window every day with the most serious little face, watching every car that drives by like he's taking mental notes. Knows the difference between a sedan and an SUV. Has opinions about color choices. Has a favorite car on the block and gets visibly excited when it drives past — tail going, ears up, the whole production. Tried to get in a stranger's Jeep once because he "needed to see the inside."
